Socialising in Sweden is considered very important. Swedish people tend to be active and like sports a lot. Other popular things are clubs and pubs. Mind that the legal age for drinking in Sweden is 18, although some establishments, mainly in bigger cities, may only admit people over 20 or 23. Most people go out for a drink or to party on the weekend, and you can expect long queues from early on outside of more popular places. Some nightclubs charge an entrance fee.
